Nago Pineapple Park (ナゴパイナップルパーク)

Der Nago Pineapple Park liegt am Rande der Stadt Nago. Es ist wohl einer der populärsten und bestvermarktesten Touristen-Spots auf Okinawa. So werden regelmäßig im lokalen Fernsehen Spots geschaltet, um die Touristenmassen in den Themenpark zu locken. Wie der Name des Parks schon sagt, dreht sich alles um die Ananas. Sie können entweder zu Fuß durch die Ananasplantage spazieren oder noch bequemer: Mit dem Ananasmobil durch den Pineapple-Park fahren lassen. Die Fahrt dauert nur wenige Minuten, das Auto fährt in Schrittgeschwindigkeit von alleine durch die engen Wege der Anlage. Vor allem für Kinder ist die Fahrt ein großes Spektakel.

Wenn die Fahrt vorüber ist, können Sie noch live durch die Glasscheibe beobachten, wie Ananas verarbeitet und eingedost werden. Im dazugehörigen Geschäft kann alles, was mit Ananas zu tun hat probiert und natürlich gekauft werden (z.B. Ananassaft, -schokolade, -wein, -bonbons, -kuchen). Eine gute Möglichkeit, um das ein oder andere Mitbringsel für ihre Freunde oder Familie zu kaufen.

Für den Besuch des Ananas Parks sollten Sie nicht allzu viel Zeit einplanen. In der Regel dürften 90 Minuten incl. Souvenirshop-Besuch ausreichen. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, dass Sie sich nur das Geschäft ansehen (ohne Eintritt). Ein Besuch lässt sich wunderbar mit einem Ausflug zum Churaumi Aquarium (Ocean Expo Park) kombinieren, da der Pineapple Park praktisch auf dem Weg liegt, wenn man die Route über die Berge wählt.

Unser Fazit:

Den Shop sollten Sie sich auf jeden Fall anschauen. Hier werden wirklich tolle, schmackhafte Produkte verkauft. Mit dem Ananasmobil durch den Park zu fahren ist vielleicht nicht unbedingt das Eintrittsgeld wert, ist aber gerade für Kinder ein tolles Erlebnis und eine nette Erinnerung.

Wenn Sie aus südlicher Richtung kommen, folgen Sie einfach der 58 ten Straße nach Nago hinein. Bleiben Sie auf der Straße noch eine Weile bis sie links auf die 84 Straße Richtung Motobu abbiegen können. Hier geht es dann noch 1,7 km lang weiter bis Sie auf der rechten Seite den Nago Pineapple Park mit der unübersehbar großen Ananas erkennen können.
